From Lawyer to Hypnotist? Really?!?
Yes. The two professions may seem worlds apart, but they're actually quite similar in at least one respect - in order to excel in either, a genuine desire to serve people is required. This has been a guiding principle throughout Maggie's professional career. Combine that with an easy-going manner, a lifelong interest in the mind-body connection and the belief that people possess vastly more potential than they realize, and practicing hypnosis became an obvious choice for Maggie. To her, the benefits of helping individuals manage or alleviate pain and stress, conquer anxiety and fears, lose weight, stop smoking, gain confidence and motivation, eliminate negative habits and behaviors, and achieve their own unique potential are unparalleled.
Maggie has donated services to the Maine chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, to the cities of Portland and South Portland, to the Dempsey Center in South Portland, Maine, where she is a regular instructor, and continues to donate her time and expertise to the residents and fellows of Maine Medical Center's Integrative Medicine Program.
